Roark Fitness Project Summary

This project was for a helath club and fitness center. The site was constructed using the CodeIgniter PHP frameworkfor the server-side logic and all of the graphics are custom. No CSS framework was used in its construction, it was built at a time when CSS framewroks were not the norm like they are now and before responsive design was a necessity due to small screen sizes, so it wasn't responsive. The logo was already being used in the marketing so the site design was built around the existing logo. In addition to the code for the frontend, the site had completely unique content that was optimized for search engines. All of the HTML and CSS code was custom code written for that site and the Nivo Slider and Suckerfish JavaScript code files were used for the slide show and dropdown menu respectively.
